Trauma-Informed Care
Be set free.
All people experience suffering at some point in their lives.
But some experiences can make it difficult to keep going. We believe that these experiences of trauma make it hard to hope, see past the pain, and move forward in freedom.
At the heart of everything we do is an awareness of and specific attention to the healing of these experiences. Whether we are working with an individual or a couple, our care is informed by the understanding that working with trauma requires sensitivity, compassion, and a strong therapeutic alliance. We offer two different types of therapy specifically designed to help make meaning out of the most difficult of life experiences.
EMDR Therapy
Although treating trauma is embedded in everything we do, we offer a specific form of trauma therapy for clients who desire more focused work.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based form of therapy that uses your body’s natural processing capacity to put your past in the past, live in freedom in the present, and create hope for the future. Our clinicians walk with you through the difficult places in your life, as a companion on the journey, helping you return to the fundamental truths about your worth, your dignity, and the care you deserve.
EMDR is designed to help you tap into your body’s natural ability to process your experiences, creating resilience and making meaning of suffering.
